Founder Stories: Rachel Webb of Inner Light Counseling’s Tips on Starting A Business
Rachell Webb is no stranger to the power of the pivot.
She never set out to open her private practice — in fact, it wasn’t even on her radar after grad school. However, burnout from her government job, combined with the shift the pandemic brought to many lives, led her to reconsider what was possible. What started as a leap of faith turned into a full-time practice just nine months later — and five years on, she hasn’t looked back.
Webb’s love for psychology runs deep. She’s been drawn to the field since high school, always knowing it would shape her life’s work. Today, she brings over a decade of experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Known for her thoughtful, reflective questions, Webb practices a client-centered approach that encourages people to reconnect with joy and create lives they genuinely love.
Guided by the belief that we are our constant companion, Webb emphasizes the importance of making your mind a good place to live. We’re honored to have connected with her to discuss her path in wellness and her journey as a business owner in the therapy sector.
